Stockland are proud to be the first developer in Australia to offer the Green Building Council of Australia’s new Green Star Homes standard. Lot 163 is the first Green Star certified home on the market at Waterlea.
Launched by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) in August 2021, Green Star Homes is a new national standard to certify homes that meet healthy, resilient and climate positive criteria.

Stockland will also be undertaking an energy and internal environment quality (IEQ) monitoring study to assess the ESD performance of Lot 163. The home will include an IEQ monitoring device on both the Ground Floor and First Floor of the home to measure things such as air temperature, humidity and pollutants. The home will also include an Energy monitoring device connected to the home’s switchboard. The resident will also have access to the data generated from these devices.
